Hi, I’m Charlotte.
I offer a body-based approach to healing—one that invites you to turn towards yourself with curiosity and compassion in order to connect with and understand yourself more, to heal trauma, and to regain the self-trust needed to live an authentic and meaningful life.
I feel passionate about supporting people who are not only suffering, but on top of that are shaming themselves or their symptoms. Because traumatic stress and trauma symptoms occur at a foundational nervous system level, all areas of people’s lives can be affected– from emotions, to behaviors, to health, to how you show up in relationships. Because of this, no matter how much therapy, world acheivments or spiritual seeking people do, if this foundational level isn’t addressed, it can start to feel like something is inherently wrong. That sense of shame and turning against oneself can quietly become one of the biggest barriers to healing.
Using Somatic Experiencing and somatic parts work (S/Inner Relationship Focusing), I support people living with trauma and chronic stress to create space to listen. Together, we’ll explore what your body is trying to tell you—so you can reclaim your inner sense of safety and get back in the driver’s seat. Unlike traditional talk therapy, this work helps you understand the language of your nervous system, resulting in healing and a restoration of inner vitality and the innate self-trust needed to live authentically from the inside out.
